"Heads up: the colors looked nothing like my proof"
Just a warning for anyone thinking about ordering business cards from SilkCards: my colors came out way off from what I approved. My logo is supposed to be a deep teal, but the cards arrived looking like a dull blue-green instead.
I went back and checked my original file and the proof they sent me, and both looked fine on my end. The actual printed cards were not even close to the color I expected, so this was not just a tiny shade difference.
When I reached out, customer service basically told me that color can vary, which I understand to a point, but this was too much to overlook. I can’t use the cards at all, so I’m disappointed and would definitely tell others to be careful

"Proofing process was a hassle"
I had a frustrating time with the proofing process. It felt confusing and took longer than I expected, which made the whole order more stressful than it should’ve been. Just a heads-up to others: if you need something quick or super straightforward, you may want to ask questions upfront or consider another option. I probably won’t order again

"Embossing just didn’t look right"
I ordered cards with embossing and, something about it just looked off right away. The letters were really uneven, some barely stood out, while others looked like they’d been pressed way too hard. There were also a few weird marks around parts of the design. For what I paid, I expected it to look a lot cleaner. I reached out to support, but they didn’t really offer a helpful solution. Disappointing overall, and I don’t think I’d order from them again.

"Something Felt Off With the Design"
When I got the final design, something just felt off compared to the proof I approved. The colors didn’t look quite the same, and the layout seemed a bit different too. It wasn’t terrible, but it definitely didn’t match what I was expecting

"I was hoping to make the cards..."
I was hoping to make the cards feel a little more personal, but the customization options were underwhelming. A few choices I expected to have just weren’t available, and tweaking the details was more of a hassle than it should’ve been. For what it costs, I don’t think it offered enough value.

"issue never really got fixed"
i had an issue with my order getting any help was way more frustrating than it should’ve been. support kept sending really short replies, and it felt like i had to keep chasing them just to get an update. after all that, the problem still wasn’t properly fixed, so i don’t think i’d order from them again.

"First impression: reordering was way harder than it should be"
Right off the bat, my first impression was that reordering should’ve been quick and simple, but it really wasn’t. I couldn’t easily reorder anything, and it ended up feeling like way more of a hassle than expected.

"Disappointing print quality"
I was let down when my print showed up. The whole thing looked dull and a bit blurry, the colors were noticeably different from my original file, and the edges looked rough instead of clean. I’m not really happy with it, and I don’t have much confidence that customer service would do anything helpful about it.

I was about to order some cards, but the pricing just felt a little too steep for what I needed. Once the add-ons started bumping the total up even more, I ended up backing out haha. Just didn’t feel worth it for me.

I got impatient waiting for my cards to show up. The turnaround took way longer than I expected, and by the end I was just annoyed and ready to be done with it

"Design help didn’t really feel worth it"
I paid extra for the design help because I figured it would save me time and make the whole process easier, so I don’t think I was expecting too much. Unfortunately, it felt low-effort. Responses took longer than I thought they should, and a couple of the changes I clearly asked for came back wrong anyway. At that point, I just fixed the file myself because I needed it done. Maybe it works better for other people, but for me, the extra cost really wasn’t worth it.

"Flimsy packaging ruined the cards"
The cards showed up bent, which was really disappointing. The box felt way too flimsy for shipping something like this. I can’t prove it, but it seems like they might’ve gone with the cheapest packaging possible and hoped it would be fine. Unfortunately, it wasn’t.

"Took Longer Than It Should Have to Get Clear Answers"
I reached out to silkcards.com while trying to place my order, and from the start it felt more confusing than it needed to be. Over a few days, I kept getting replies that didn’t really answer my questions, so I had to follow up and ask the same things again. By the time I was ready to move forward, I was more stressed than excited about the order. I just wish the communication had been clearer and quicker

The details they printed were totally different from what I ordered. It was frustrating because I had to spend extra time figuring out what went wrong and dealing with getting it fixed when it should’ve been done right the first time.

"Not really happy with how it turned out"
I don’t know, I was just kind of disappointed with this order. It took longer to arrive than I thought it would, and when the cards finally showed up, they didn’t really match the proof I approved. I figured maybe support could help, but they were slow to respond too. Overall, just not a great experience, and I probably wouldn’t order from them again

"Finish wore off way too quickly"
It looked really nice when I first got it, but the finish started rubbing off way sooner than it should have. I’m disappointed because I expected it to hold up better, and I think the company needs to take some responsibility for the quality here.

The card stock felt thin and cheap, not what I was expecting. After just a short time in my wallet, the edges were already starting to bend. What made it more annoying was that there didn’t seem to be any real human contact to help sort it out, just the usual automated stuff.

"Shipping was slower than I expected"
I ordered custom cards from silkcards, the shipping took way longer than I thought it would.
I’ve ordered custom printed stuff from a few other places before, so I wasn’t expecting it to be instant, but this felt noticeably slower. The tracking updates didn’t really help much either, since it seemed like nothing changed for days.
The cards looked fine once they finally arrived, but the long wait made the whole experience frustrating. I probably wouldn’t order from them again if I needed something by a specific date
